Our living room is complete.

Well, we have finally completed our living room :D Just fourteen months after we moved in, we now have all our furniture sorted.

We ordered the shelving, the coffee table, and side table from Argos on December 23rd and had it delivered yesterday morning (December 29th). We are really pleased with it - it makes the living room look much more spacious as it doesn't dominate the room like the other bookcase did.

We moved some books onto the shelving in the bedroom and brought all the photos and knick knacks in here to go on the new unit. The big bookcase went in the craft room, as you can see from the last photo, and it now has all my school stuff on there, so it makes it a craft room cum office. I love our living room now, and I'm so pleased it is done in time for New Year - it was like having a spring clean three months early, but totally worth it :D
